"If You're Afraid of the Dark Remember the Night Rainbow" by Cooper Edens
Recently, my ten year-old daughter and I read a book called "If You're Afraid of the Dark Remember the Night Rainbow" by Seattle based author Cooper Edens. This is a sweet book, but a bit strange since it doesn't have a story. It's a series of sayings we're all familiar with, but with a whimsical twist. And the illustrations, which were also done by the author, are surreal, but not disturbing. They're colorful, dream-like, and uplifting. My daughter and I really enjoyed this odd little book, although some younger kids might not quite get it. Has anyone else heard of this book or the author? What did you think?
